Sarath Manamendra arrested

Secretary of Nawa Sihala Urumaya Sarath Manamendra was taken in to custody following an arrest warrant a short while ago.

The arrest warrant was issued in relation to a domestic squabble. He had been remanded by the Colombo magistrate till May 19.
