The road was closed for traffic after recommendations were received from the National Building Research Organization (NBRO), which stated that there was a high likelihood of land slides, if the area experienced more than 30mm of rain. The NBRO is conducting research in the area to collect more information regarding the threat of land slides in the vicinity.
