Rescue operations halted due to bad weather

Disaster Management Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said rescue operations at Meeriyabedda Estate to rescue the victims of the landslide were halted because of the adverse weather experienced this evening.


Minister Amaraweera said rescue operations would resume tomorrow morning.
