Rail services resume

The railway service on the Badulla-Colombo track came to a standstill last evening due to earth slips in the Watawala area, and has now resumed, the Railway Control Room said.

The Colombo-bound Badulla mail train and the Badulla-bound Colombo mail train which were scheduled to leave at 8.00p.m and 6.00 p.m were suspended due to earth slips in the Watawala area, last evening. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
