Pujith appointed acting IGP

Western Province Senior DIG Pujith Jayasundera had been appointed as Acting Inspector General of Police as IGP N.K. Illangakoon is to leave for Uganda on an official visit today, the Police said.

Mr. Jayasundara will be the Acting IGP from November 1 to November 5.
