President offers condolences over Boston bomb attack

President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a message to US President Barrack Obama condemned the Boston bomb attack today and called it an act of cowardice while conveying condolences over the loss of life and injuries sustained

The  president also had said in his message that Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, a Sri Lankan minister, was also killed in a terrorist bomb attack while getting ready to start a similar marathon and therefore we in Sri Lanka very well understood the brutality and the pain of terrorism.

The president also invited the US leader and leaders of all countries to get together to eliminate this scourge of terrorism.
