People who had missed to cast their postal votes could vote on August 11 as well, the Elections Department said today.

Marking of postal voting commenced on August 3 for the school teachers and voting took place on August 5th and 6th for other public sector workers.

Additional Commissioner of the Department R.M.A.L. Rathnayake said August 8 has been allocated for the Elections Department and the District Secretariat officials to cast their postal votes.

He said August 8 was weekend day and those who had missed casting the vote could vote on August 11.
