Police entry copies to be issued speedily

The Sri Lanka police department has introduced a facility to obtain a copy of the original police entry instantly, Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said.

The entry copies of the following misplaces items can be obtained in this manner

1.    National Identity card, Driving license, license related to motor vehicles or other important documentaries.
2.    Entry copies not regarding serious accidents.

These copies will be issued instantly at a charge of Rs.25.
