The German model Nasia Jansen, who had posed next to a Buddha statue in a defamatory manner, posted a twitter message apologising for her actions and said she had removed the photos.

The pictures defamatory of Buddhism had appeared in an online version of an American Magazine called Playboy.

In her twitter message she said “I never meant to disrespect the Buddha, when I work I have to pose wherever I get told to pose, I'm really sorry, I feel very bad, I removed it.”

Many people who were disturbed by this picture had posted twitter messages criticising her and this was what might have led her to make apologise.
