Video: Pettah shops ablaze

Fire fighters are trying to douse a fire that broke out a short while ago near the Bodhiraja Temple in Pettah affecting several shops.

Around 50 shops in Bodhiraja Mawatha, Pettah were gutted due to a fire that spread from one shop behind the Bodhiraja Temple.

The shops that mostly sold textiles were completely burnt when the fire fighters doused the fire. (Video and text by Sanath Desmond)
