PC member fined in Singapore

Central Provincial Council UPFA member G. Rajapakse today revealed at a PC meeting that he was fined 50 Singapore Dollars (Rs. 5,099) for dropping a bus ticket on a Singapore road.

He said such laws should be implemented in Sri Lanka, too, to protect the environment. (J. A.L. Jayasinghe)
