A collision between two buses heading from Matara to Colombo and from Alpitiya to Galle in Owakanda, Rathgama this morning resulted in one person dying and eight sustaining injuries, police spokesman SP Preshantha Jayakody told Daily Mirror online.
He added that four out of the eight injured were students and no serious injuries were reported. Further investigations are being carried out by the police. (GS)
