Accident kills one, injures 18

A driver was killed and 18 others injured when a van and a tipper met with accident in Horana a short while ago, police spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody told Daily Mirror online

He added that the condition of four persons were critical while the others were undergoing treatment at the Horana hospital. Reportedly one of the drivers of the two vehicles had died at the scene of the accident. (Daily Mirror online)
