The Criminal investigations Department (CID) yesterday arrested two main suspects over the death of late SP Prasad Siriwardena, the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Borella Police at Thunnana , the Police said.

They said both suspects who were residents of Hanwella had been arrested in Ratnapura and Trincomalee .

The suspects are to be produced before the Awissawella Magistrate.

SP Siriwardena died due to violence at Thunnana on the High Level Road on March 16.(DS)
