Norochcholai Plant shut sporadically for 35 days

The operation of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant had been shut down sporadically for 35 days, since it started electricity generation on March 22, 2011, due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work and delays in coal supply, Parliament was informed today. (Kelum Bandara and Yohan Perera)
