Public Relations and Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva said that there is no point in being a minister of this government if he is unable to fulfil people’s needs.

“If I am unable to fulfil the people’s needs and the government is not ready to help me to serve the people, there is no point in keeping the vehicles and security given to me and also being a minister of this government,” Minister Silva said addressing an event in Peliyagoda on Saturday (4).

He also said that he was not allowed to work as a minister for one year and two months. “I am very disappointed about it,” he said.
