There was no need for special personal security for President of Bar Association Upul Jayasuriya, as there was no threat on the life of Jayasuriya according to investigations, Law and Order Ministry Secretary Nanda Mallawarachchi had informed the Police Chief N.K. Ilangakoon.

Western Province Senior DIG Anura Senanayake informed this to the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court today and said that he would undertake the security of Jayasuriya completely.
