No LTTEers in Vavuniya prison

Prison authorities said today that no LTTE suspects were located in the Vavuniya prison due to security reasons.

All the LTTE prisoners were at the Anuradhapura prison while Tamil civilian suspects were at the Vavuniya prison as usual.

The Vavuniya prison was opened yesterday after being refurbished and the relocating of prisoners would be carried out gradually.
