Nine soldiers arrested with ganja

Nine soldiers with 800grams of ganja in their possession were arrested by the Habarana police in Hathareskotuwa.

The suspects had hidden the ganja in their pockets and trousers to evade detection. The suspects were taken into custody after the private bus they were traveling was stopped at a police road block.  The nine soldiers were heading to their camps after concluding their holiday when they were arrested.

The Habarana police are conducting further investigations. (KKA)
