Nine fishermen arrested by SL Navy

Nine fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on Thursday for allegedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line. They were later taken to Talaimanar Navy camp, fisheries department sources said.

The fishermen had put out to sea in two boats on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, 15 fishermen had been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on the same charges. (The Hindu)
