Nasheed in SL

The President of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed arrived in the country this morning on a working visit and was received by Minster of External Affairs Prof. G. L. Peries. President Nasheed then travelled to Hambantota to meet with President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

External Affairs Ministry Monitoring MP Sajin Vass Gunawardena will pay a courtesy call on President Nasheed tomorrow. He is expected to leave the country on Thursday. (Dianne Silva)
