Mulleriyawa shootout - Blood stains sent to Govt. analyst

A Colombo Court today directed the CID to send to the government analyst, the blood stains extracted from the clothes worn by Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and four others and those removed from the vehicles found at the scene of  the murder.

CID Inspector Sugath Kumara told the Colombo Additional Magistrate Prasantha De Alwis that they had recovered blood stained clothes from the vehicles in which Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra travelled and from the vehicle that Duminda Silva travelled.

He said the police had also recovered a revolver, used bullets and a motor bike with blood stains and a burnt down defender vehicle.
The case has been fixed for November 1. (T. Farook Thjaudeen)
