MR visits Kataragama

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited Kataragama Maha Devalaya and engaged in religious rituals this morning.


It was speculated that Mr. Rajapaksa had visited the temple aspiring to re-enter into active politics.  


He had engaged in religious activities since Sunday with Mrs. Rajapaksa and sons Namal and Yoshitha Rajapaksa.  


Former Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa, Provincial Councillor Udaya Gammanpila and Ex- Minister Gamini Lokuge were also present.
