Mother calls Police to make her kids study

The Dambulla Police Headquarters Inspector had received strange a telephone call from a woman at around 11 p.m. last night asking him to deploy two Police officers, since her children were not engaging in educational activities.

Dambulla Police Headquarters Inspector Saranath Samarakoon had received this telephone call soon after he gave his mobile number to the members of the Peace Committee, who were appointed to contact in case of emergency.

The Dambulla Police Headquarters Inspector revealed this at a meeting held with the members of Peace Committee, who represented Dambulla and Ratmalgaha Ela Grama Niladhari Divisions.
