Maldives extends continuous support to SL at Int’l Fora

The Maldivian Foreign Affairs Minister Ms. Dunya Maumoon had assured Maldives’ support  to Sri Lanka on the international front when she called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees this morning.

“On the international front, let me assure you of the Maldives’ continuous support,” Ms. Maumoon said.

The discussion focused on a number of matters of mutual interest including education and further strengthening bilateral relations.

This was her second visit to Sri Lanka as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Her last visit was when she accompanied Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen during the State Visit to Sri Lanka in January this year.
