Maithripala’s rally kicks off in Polonnaruwa

Common Opposition Candidate Maithripala Sirisena's election campaign commenced this evening with a public rally in Polonnaruwa with the participation of a large number of supporters.

Before the public rally, Presidential Candidate Sirisena and other opposition leaders received Buddhist blessings at a ceremony in Polonnaruwa.

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, UNP members Sajith Premadasa, Karu Jayasuriya, Tissa Attanayake, Ravi Karunanayake, Daya Gamage, Rajith Seneratne and many other opposition members were present at the rally.
