Madras Court restrains bank from ousting SL woman from service

The Madras High Court has passed an interim injunction restraining the State Bank of India from ousting a Sri Lankan a woman, who came to India as a refugee and got appointment in the bank on contract basis and later made eligible for the benefits of permanent employees.

Thirukalyanamalar came to India in 1990 from Sri Lanka as refugee and did her Agricultural Bsc and MBA in Tamil Nadu.(PTI)
