A foreign LTTE operative identified as Subramanium Sivakumar was arrested by the Terrorism Investigations Department (TID) in Colombo, the Director of the Terrorism Investigations Department told reporters in Colombo this evening.
The LTTE operative reportedly had direct contacts with LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabakaran. (SMD)
