Ten Kilo Cyst removed

A 45-30 centimetre-Cyst, weighing ten kilos, was successfully removed from an ovary of an eighteen-year-old girl at the Alpitiya General Hospital by a team of Surgeons.

The surgery was performed by a medical team led by Doctor Krishan De Silva, a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  Reports say that the occurrence of such Cysts in teenage girls was extremely rare. Picture shows the Cyst that was removed from the girl.
