Sri Lanka began their post-lunch session on the fourth day of the second test against Australia a short while ago, 156 runs behind the visitors.

The hosts performed much better, as the openers played better than they had throughout the series, and looked like heading into lunch with all wickets intact, before skipper Dilshan was caught by Shane Watson off the bowling of Ryan Harris for 36.

Earlier, Michael Clarke made an aggressive declaration in lieu of the play that was lost over the last two days due to weather, with his team on 411 for 7.
