Lankan woman arrested in Kuwait

Ahmadi security men arrested a Sri Lankan woman in Kuwait for manufacturing alcohol and referred her to authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

A security source said police were tipped-off that a woman was selling alcohol under a building in Mahboula. They then rushed to the place and arrested her in possession of three bottles filled with local brew.

 During questioning, the Sri Lankan admitted to manufacturing alcohol in her flat in Mahboula.  Police raided the place and confiscated eight barrels of brew, in addition to manufacturing equipment. (Arab Times)
