We called him several times but the mobile was switched off. My friend drove the car and we moved to the City Centre in Deira.

Upon reaching there, my friend expressed his astonishment on how the driver could have left the car open while there were Dh950,000 in it. Upon searching the bag, we found it empty. We tried to reach the driver via one of his friends but we failed. Hence, we called the police,” he testified.
