Lankan dupes Kuwaiti trader

KUWAIT: A well-known businessman has been duped by a Sri Lankan contractor, reports Al-Rai daily. The businessman filed a complaint at the Fahaheel Police Station, saying he and the Sri Lankan agreed to start a joint business venture with a capital of KD200,000 and that he did not hear from the Sri Lankan since he gave an advance payment of KD67,000.

Further investigations by the police revealed that the suspect had already left for his home country. (Source: Arab Times Online)
