JVP harassed

The JVP alleged that the Thandikulam police and persons who identify themselves as army intelligence personnel had harassed member of the party who were making preparations to open a JVP District office in Vauniya.

 

The OIC of the Thandikulam police had gathered information regarding JVP members who were decorating and making the final preparations for the opening ceremony of a JVP District office in Vauniya, which is scheduled to be opened by JVP Party Secretary Tilvin Silva, the JVP media unit told Daily Mirror online.

 

The JVP members have been harassed and threatened by these individuals from late last night and the owner of the rented building had also been told to report to the police to give a statement.
