Somawansa Amarasinghe the leader of the JVP speaking to Daily Mirror online a short while ago confirmed that he heard news of an attack on a demonstration of his party. "I’m not at the venue at the moment, but we just heard news of the incident,” he said adding, “I still can’t give you any further details.” (Hafeel Farisz)
