Shakthi journalist attacked in Hatton

Shakthi TV journalist J. Shri Ranga and a Sub Inspector (SI) giving him security were attacked by an unidentified group in Hatton this evening, police spokesman SSP I.M Karunaratna said. The Sub Inspector sustained injuries but Ranga was unhurt. The vehicle in which they were traveling was also damaged. 

SSP Karunaratna added that a complaint had been lodged regarding the attack at the Hatton police. (GS)
