The Democratic National Alliance (DNA), in a press release, has questioned the government if there are moves to target Anoma Fonseka, the wife of General Sarath Fonseka in light of a statement made by a government Minister.

The DNA recalled that Minister Dallus Alahaperuma, at a press briefing recently, had claimed that Mrs. Fonseka should take care of her own security instead of being concerned about her husband.

The DNA is of the view the statement by the Minister gives rise to suspicion of a conspiracy by the government against the opposition and that there also maybe attempts to target Mrs. Fonseka and put the blame on a third party.
