Indian national remanded

An Indian who was traveling to Jaffna without the necessary Defence Ministry clearance was taken into custody by the Army at the Omanthai check point. The suspect who was handed over to the police was remanded till the 10th of August.
The Indian was traveling to Jaffna using a CTB bus headed to the area. The Vauniya police are conducting further investigations. (GS)
