Illegal radio station shut

The Kalpitiya police today shut down an illegal radio station that was operating without a license from the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC). According to the police, Shikaran (Hill top) carried out operations from a secret booth located at a shopping complex in Kalpitiya. (PD)
