HC allows CJ-43 to file objections

The Colombo High Court today allowed time till August 4 for former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake to file objections against the stay order restraining her lawyers and computer experts from acessing the computer logins and statement logins of her accounts at the NDB Bank

High Court Judge M.C.B.S. Morais allowed her the instructing lawyers Paul Ratnayake Associates to file objections against the stay order sequent to a request made by Counsel Nalin Ladduwahetty PC who appeared with U.L.G. Bandara and Gunaratne Wanninayake for Dr. Bandaranayake.

The Colombo High Court had earlier issued the stay order after considering submissions made by Counsel Kalinga Indatissa PC. (Farook Thajudeen)
