Grade 5 scholarship; cut off marks released

The cut off marks for the grade 5 scholarship examination were released a short while ago by the education ministry.

Royal College and Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo requires the highest marks for entrance.

The cut off marks released are as follows:

Royal College, Visakha Vidayalaya – 186 marks; Dharmaraja College, Kandy – 184; Mahamaya College, Kandy – 183; Maliyadewa College, Kurunegala, Ananda College Colombo- 183, Devi Balika Colombo- 182, Nalanda College Colombo – 181, D.S. Senanayake College, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo, Southlands Balika Vidyalaya, Galle – 180; Pannipitiya Dharmapala and Taxila Central College, Horana with 174 marks to gain entrance were the two co-ed schools which required the highest number of marks among such schools.
