Galgamuwa PS member dies in accident

Galgamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha member B. A Thilakarathne died after his vehicle veered off the road and crashed onto  a tree on the Anuradhapura-Padeniya road today.

The 56-year-old UPFA member was accompanied by his mother and another colleague when the accident took place. The duo are currently receiving treatment at the Mahawa hospital, Police said.

The vehicle driven by the victim PS member was travelling from Galgamuwa to Kurunegala
