A group of 10 security officials attached to opposition common candidate General Sarath Fonseka’s security contingent were handed over to the military a short while ago.
General Fonseka’s camp claimed the ten men were part of the security contingent given to the Presidential Candidate by the Elections Commissioner Dayananda Dissanayake and are not army deserters. (DS)
