Flights to Europe

24 May 2011 10:35 am

All SriLankan Airlines flights to Europe will depart as scheduled with a contingency plan to fly to alternate airports, in case Iceland’s volcanic ash clouds spread further into Europe. Passengers to European destinations such as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome and Milan are advised to contact SriLankan Airlines on the number 1979 for information about your respective flights six hours before departure.

The airline is closely monitoring the developments of Iceland’s volcanic eruption and its ash clouds which may spread further in Europe. Passengers can call SriLankan Airlines contact centre on 1979 from any telephone or mobile network and be kept informed of any changes in their flight schedules during this period.
