Five Police transfers announced

Five Police OICs had been transferred with effect from yesterday under the instructions of Police Chief on service requirements, the Police said today. 

Accordingly, Embilipitiya Headquarters Police Inspector R. Witharana had been transferred to Mount Lavinia Division, Kuttigala OIC J. Dias to Embilipitiya and Police Inspector W. Alahakoon from Police Field Headquarters to Kuttigala. 

Meanwhile, Katana Acting OIC T. Senaratne and Sigiriya Acting OIC W. Ratnayake had been appointed as the OICs of their respective divisions.
