The ornamental fish that has been provided to the Kandy Court Complex pond have gone missing.  It is alleged that there were Gold fish and Carp of an expensive variety in the pond and there is a private security service providing security to the complex round the clock.

These ornamental fish has been provided by two attorneys, who as a habit had been feeding these fish during their free time in Courts.  But since recently, the fish had disappeared.

One of the Attorneys disturbed over the disappearance of the ornamental fish said that two of the Carp varieties have been valued Rs.5000 each.

He told the 'Daily Mirror' that he would report the matter to the relevant authorities to take action.  Now the pond is filled with green algae and is deserted. (L.B.Senaratne)
