Fake police rob Lankan

KUWAIT CITY: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for robbing a Sri Lankan man, reports Al-Shahed daily.

According to a complaint filed by the Sri Lankan with the Khaldiya Police Station the suspects attacked him in a building under construction and stole KD 340 from his possession.

He added the two men arrived in a Jeep and claimed to be police. The men accused him of possessing drugs. Then they body searched him and escaped with the money.

The complainant has provided police the license plate number of the suspects’ car. (Arab Times)
