All government doctors have decided to launch an island wide strike starting at 8 am tomorrow demanding the authorities to restore the duty-free vehicle permit concession, the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) announced.

Spokesman Dr. Naveen Zoysa said that initially they would launch the strike from 8 am to 4 pm tomorrow. “We would decide whether to continue with the strike or not at 4 pm tomorrow,” he said.
