Dhammika appointed Deputy DG at SEC

Director, Investigations, Dhammika Perera has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) with effect from today.

This was announced to the SEC employees by the newly appointed SEC Chairman Dr. Nalaka Godaheva in a special staff meeting held today morning.

The appointment of Perera was decided at the first Commission meeting headed by Nalaka Godahewa, which was held last Friday.

The SEC currently does not have a Director General. Prof. Harreendra Dissabandara was appointed as the Acting Director General in April, this year.
