A complaint has been lodged against Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office, V Narayanasamy, for his recent statement on LTTE chief Prabhakaran and Naam Tamizhar Katchi.
Advocate C Ramesh of Madurai filed a complaint with the IGP of South Zone stating that the official statement issued by the minister prompted enmity between the Tamil-speaking Indians and non-Tamils.
On May 20, the MoS made a statement that the LTTE Chief was a coward, who used women and children as human shields. The complainant said that the statement by the minister was totally irresponsible, and was imputed against a dead person.
The complainant sought action against Narayanaswamy under Section 153 (A) of IPC
